Last Friday, workers of the Siluet factory planted 10 cherry trees, which became the first saplings of the future orchard.
The orchard with a total area of 0,2 ha was laid out on the factory grounds. Walkways will be installed, flower beds arranged, and gazebos and benches added for employees to use during lunch and production breaks.
More than 15 people took part in the planting event.
According to the factory's general director, Nadezhda Mikhailovna Semchenko, the cherry orchard will become a symbol of the industrial site's development, and the trees planted here by the company's veterans and young employees will strengthen the continuity between generations.
The planting of the cherry orchard in Karachev is one of the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Vostok-Service Group.
