Many of you have already read the news that on May 21 another Vostok-Service alley appeared in Ramenskoye: central office employees planted 100 thuja saplings in the square on Kosmonavtov Street in honor of the company's 30th anniversary.
The tree planting was attended by the company's founder Vladimir Alexandrovich Golovnev, who noted:
“Planting trees is something more than simply beautifying our hometowns. It is known that every person should, in their lifetime, build a house, plant a tree and raise a child. If we speak about the event in Ramenskoye, the house in Ramenskoye is already being built: every day, when you come to work and go home, you see the pace at which the third phase of the new warehouse is being erected. The trees will be planted today. And speaking about raising a child — Vostok-Service for each of those present here is like a native child. Everyone invests their soul and a part of their labor into their work at the company.
Therefore I hope that the alley we plant today will adorn the Ramensky urban district for many years and will become a lasting reminder of the 30th anniversary of the Vostok-Service Group.”
The head of the Ramensky urban district, Viktor Valentinovich Nevolin, also took an active part in the event.
“I sincerely thank everyone gathered for the opportunity to plant trees here together. And not only for that: what Vostok-Service does is always visible, very beautiful, durable and practical. I have repeatedly been convinced that your products are known not only here, but also in other regions. This shows that Vostok-Service’s products are competitive, and the company's team is capable of handling serious tasks. For us, this means budget revenues and new jobs, so we are ready to help and support the company not only in tree planting.
The trees planted today in our town are a lasting keepsake. I congratulate you and thank you for remaining active contributors to the improvement and life of our city,” V. V. Nevolin said in his address to participants.
After the welcoming remarks, V. V. Nevolin and V. A. Golovnev, together with Vostok-Service Group employees, planted several trees and installed a commemorative plaque at the beginning of the newly laid alley.
The responsibility for caring for the new alley has been assumed by MBU “Maintenance and Improvement”, whose staff will monitor the condition of the thuja, provide watering and carry out beautification (pruning, installing supports if necessary, etc.).
The number of Vostok-Service alleys is growing. In 2022, to those planted earlier were added a cherry orchard in Uzlovaya, Tula Region; a sweet cherry orchard in Karachev, Bryansk Region; a lilac alley in Tver; and a fruit orchard in Oryol consisting of sweet cherries, pear trees and apricot trees. In Stavropol, together with staff from a client organization, a spruce alley was planted; in Sterlitamak an “Alley of Working Professions”, also of spruces, appeared; and in Kuzbass, with the help of Vostok-Service employees, an alley of mighty Siberian spruces was greened. Buzuluk was adorned with slender rows of firs, and Orsk gained more birches. In Volgograd pines were planted, while our Chelyabinsk colleagues went beyond pines by adding apple trees and silver poplars. And this is not the end — plantings continue!
The “Vostok-Service Alleys” project, aimed at expanding green areas and creating a human-friendly environmental space, was launched in 2014. Since then, the number of alleys and orchards has grown significantly in the towns, workers’ settlements and other localities where our company’s divisions operate. This initiative is part of the company's sustainable development program — our contribution to preserving and maintaining the environment.
