The designation of clothing sizes in Russia, the CIS countries and Europe differs. In Russia and the CIS it is customary to designate clothing sizes using numbers (chest circumference), while in Europe sizes are indicated by letters (XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL). For size calculation use the stichmass system indicated in the tables.

To correctly choose a shoe size, first measure the foot:

  1. Stand on a sheet of paper.
  2. Draw the outline of the feet at the extreme points (heel and toes).
  3. It is important to hold the pencil perpendicular.
  4. Measure the distance between the extreme points on the resulting outline.
  5. Compare the obtained result with the shoe size chart.

We recommend measuring in the evening — feet swell during the day, so you may need a larger size. When choosing footwear that will be worn in winter with wool socks, measure your foot while wearing them. If an exact measurement result is not present in the table or the results for the two feet differ, round up to the larger size.

  1. Measure the face width by measuring the maximum horizontal width of the face along the zygomatic arches — the bony arch running horizontally from the cheekbone to the outer ear.
  2. Measure the face length by measuring the vertical distance from the bottom of the chin to the deepest point on the bridge of the nose.

Guide to determining protective glove size

Correct glove sizing ensures comfort and long service life of protective gloves. Protective glove size is determined in accordance with GOST 12.4.252 «SSBT. Hand PPE. GLOVES. General technical requirements.» clauses 5.1.1 and 5.1.2. The most convenient method is to measure the circumference of the palm with a tailor's tape at its widest part (usually about 20 mm from the web between the thumb and index finger), as shown in the illustration.

Compare the measurement result in mm with the data in Table 1. By interpolation you can determine intermediate sizes and additional models. Most models of the PALMA private label have colored overlock stitching for easy visual identification of glove size.
