Vostok-Service Alleys: Six Years Later

In 2014 we launched one of the initiatives of our environmental program – the "Vostok-Service" Alleys. Its goal is to help green the cities where the company's divisions are located. And now, 6 years after the launch of this initiative, we will show how the planted trees and shrubs are doing.

In 2014 we launched one of the directions of our eco-program — the "Vostok-Service" Alleys. Its goal is to help green the cities where the company's divisions are located. And now, 6 years after the start of this initiative, we will show how the planted trees and shrubs are doing.

Let us recall that the first alley appeared opposite the company's Central Office in Moscow. Several saplings of young lindens, lilacs and viburnums were planted here. They have thrived and please not only the office staff but also everyone who passes by.

In 2016 the program was joined by LLC "Orenburg-Vostok-Service" (Orenburg). Employees of this branch planted two rows of pyramidal poplars.

Almost simultaneously with their colleagues from Orenburg, armed with all the necessary tools, the branch employees in Stary Oskol jointly planted 10 pink 'Vegeyla' shrubs and two thuja trees. The planting took place on the grounds of the Nikolskaya Church, which is located next to the office. The trees and shrubs have already taken root and have integrated perfectly into the church grounds' landscaping.

In 2019 employees of the Ufa branch took part in tree planting as part of the republican action "Green Bashkiria". The conifer alley they planted was named "Friendship Alley". Recently the branch employees checked the planted saplings, which have already grown into sturdy young trees.

And in April 2021 several employees of the Central Office expanded their alley by planting young rowan and bird cherry trees, as well as lilac and jasmine bushes. This planting was timed to coincide with the "Earth Day" celebration.

Note that all "Vostok-Service" branches carefully monitor the planted vegetation: they provide watering, fertilization and so on as needed. And we are confident that soon our eco-program will be supported not only by the branches but by many others as well, and together we will make our planet cleaner and greener!
