The Vostok-Service group of companies pays great attention to the preservation of ecology and Russia's natural resources. Therefore it actively supports projects related to these areas and independently organizes campaigns and events to promote them.
This summer Vostok-Service launched a project with the Botanical Garden of Moscow State University. Aptekarsky Ogorod was founded back in 1706 by Russia's first emperor, Peter I. Today it has the status of a monument of Moscow's history and culture, a monument of 18th-century landscape art, and a specially protected natural area (ООПТ).
One of the project's aims is to support one of the country's earliest botanical gardens, which houses a large number of species from Russia's flora. Each of them receives special care so that future generations can see them. For example, Aptekarsky Ogorod is home to many tree species that are already over 250 years old (in particular, the famous larch of Peter I, which was planted by the emperor himself).
As part of the cooperation, our company donated sets of modern workwear, safety footwear and PPE to the staff of Aptekarsky Ogorod. They will now work in jackets and trousers from the SPETS and LADY SPETS collections, SMART ankle boots, gloves and other personal protective equipment. The new kit will create more comfortable working conditions for the Aptekarsky Ogorod staff, boost their morale and help them perform their daily professional duties.
In turn, Aptekarsky Ogorod will help us run a series of excursions and reports through which our readers can get closer acquainted with this unique Russian biological project.
