Our company employs people who understand the need for a responsible attitude toward nature and actively participate in various environmental programs initiated by the company or our partners.
Since 2014 we have supported projects to preserve rare species of animals and birds. Under our company's patronage are the red panda, the Daurian crane, the Caucasus–Białowieża bison, the jaguarundi, the lynx, and the white lion.
Every year from April to September employees of the head office, branches, factories, warehouses and stores plant trees and shrubs near offices, schools, parks and other infrastructure facilities in various Russian cities. In 2022-2024 more than 2 500 trees were planted. This year employees of the head office and branches in Tula, Kazan, Irkutsk, Chelyabinsk, Cherepovets, Ryazan and others have already taken part in the initiative.
Cleaning of water bodies. Our employees contribute to the preservation of water resources and aquatic flora and fauna: they clean water bodies and coastal areas of litter and properly dispose of waste. In 2022-2024 more than 40 sites were cleaned, and 10.5 tons of waste were collected.
In the offices, stores and factories of the Vostok-Service Group there are special collection boxes for used batteries and plastic caps, which we send for recycling. Several times a year company divisions hand in waste paper. In 2022-2024 more than 250 kg of batteries, 3 t of waste paper, and 200 kg of caps were collected.
Thanks to abandoning printed product catalogs and switching to an electronic catalog, we annually preserve 4 hectares of pine forest (more than 4000 trees) and 2 Olympic swimming pools of clean water (50х25х3 m), and help reduce the use of printing ink.
