The Vostok-Service Group took part in outfitting the volunteers of an environmental expedition to clean the shore of the Barents Sea with workwear and protective footwear.
In 2023 our company began cooperating with ANO CRD «Помощь», whose activities involve scientists and students from the All‑Russian Student Rescue Corps.
The Vostok-Service Group became a partner of the environmental project ― an expedition to the settlement of Stary Varandey in the territory of the municipal formation «Zapolyarny District» of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
In August, a team of volunteers, including members of the federal project «Clean Arctic» and the Volunteer Center of RTU MIREA from various cities across Russia, carried out a cleanup of the Barents Sea shoreline. The scale of the work is truly impressive: volunteers collected about 300 tons of waste (wood and scrap metal).
To protect the volunteers from moisture, strong winds and other adverse weather conditions, we provided them with ORION coveralls, RUSSIAN ALASKA jackets and EVA waterproof boots. The weather in these parts is changeable, and according to expedition participants, our clothing and footwear came in very handy on several occasions.
