We are pleased to report that our beloved animals — the armadillo Sonya and the red pandas Zayn and Ryzhik — are all doing well. They are in good health; however, Sonya is still waiting for her mate.
You can visit the red pandas every day during the Moscow Zoo's opening hours. They are lively and playful but prefer to hide in the coolness of their enclosures during very hot weather. Please take the weather into account when planning your visit to the zoo.
We would like to remind you that Vostok-Service has been sponsoring the red pandas Zayn and Ryzhik together with its partner (the company Panda) since 2014.
In 2016, together with JSP, we took under our care a female round armadillo named Sonya. Round armadillos are the only armadillos able to roll into a tight, armored ball when threatened, resembling a helmet. That is exactly why we chose this species.
This remarkable animal, with such unique defensive abilities, became so popular among our employees that the armadillo became the mascot of Vostok-Service's main corporate sports event — Vostokiada.
