With the arrival of spring the animals' daily routines gradually change, so in April the Moscow Zoo switched to summer opening hours – from 8.00 to 19.00. It's a great opportunity to meet our residents: the charming red pandas Zeyn and Ryzhik and the three-banded armadillos Boris and Grelka.

Since 2014 Vostok-Service Group, together with partners, has been participating in a program to sponsor animals from various zoos across our country. The essence of the project providing free assistance to members of the fauna classified as rare and on the verge of extinction.

We sponsor two three-banded armadillos jointly with the British company JSP. The partners specialize in the design and manufacture of helmets. The armadillos were chosen deliberately: nature has endowed these animals with built-in "protection mechanisms." This is the only species of armadillo that can roll into a tight armored ball when threatened, resembling a helmet. That is how the three-banded armadillo got its name.
