Molded rubber dielectric overshoes (hereinafter overshoes) are designed to provide protection against exposure to direct or alternating electric current with amplitude values not exceeding 1000 V. The overshoes serve as a supplementary means of protection against electric current when working in indoor electrical installations and, in the absence of precipitation, in outdoor installations. The molded overshoes consist of a rubber upper and a ribbed rubber sole. The overshoes are intended for use in a temperature range from -30°C to +50°C at a relative air humidity of up to 95%. The overshoes are manufactured from synthetic rubber by molding in presses with subsequent breakdown testing at a spark height of not less than 70 mm.
