Continuing to implement its corporate eco-program, the Vostok-Service Group of Companies has launched a helmet recycling project at PJSC Severstal.
"Lean manufacturing" and "energy-saving technologies" are concepts that have real embodiment at Vostok-Service. Promoting environmental responsibility and carrying out measures aimed at preserving the environment and conserving natural resources, the company has launched a joint project with one of its largest clients – PJSC Severstal.
On the site, at 19 in-shop PPE distribution points, Vostok-Service organized the collection of old helmets whose service life has expired.
When issued a new helmet at the end of the service period, a PJSC Severstal employee hands in the old helmet, and the PPE issuance tracking program records the corresponding note.
Then Vostok-Service twice a month collects helmets from all PPE distribution points, packs and stores them, and subsequently ships them for further processing as secondary raw material.
