On November 11, the 4th conference "Successful Ways to Develop the Occupational Safety Market" took place, organized by the Vostok-Service Group with the support of NAOT.
The IV conference "Successful Ways to Develop the Occupational Safety Market" was attended by leaders of partner companies and specialists from occupational safety and industrial safety departments of enterprises and organizations from all regions of Russia – from Kamchatka to Kaliningrad. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation ― Magomed Sultanovich Abdulhalimov, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, and Georgy Vladimirovich Molebnov, Director of the Department of Working Conditions and Occupational Safety.
The business programme of the conference was opened by Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Magomed Sultanovich Abdulhalimov. In his speech he outlined the main problems and challenges in ensuring human safety in the workplace, and also noted the contribution of the NAOT Association and the Vostok-Service Group to the key occupational safety event VNOT-2025.
Sergey Shiryaev, General Director of the Vostok-Service Group, spoke about the main trends in the economy and the PPE market, and provided development forecasts for 2026. During his presentation an interactive poll of conference participants took place: in a special app they answered questions about pressing issues in the occupational safety market and saw the results displayed as a word cloud on the screen. The survey showed that staffing issues are the main challenge for the market, and also revealed a high demand for automation, fast delivery, comfortable footwear and outsourcing services.
The General Director of the NAOT Association delivered a presentation on best practices for implementing wellbeing programmes, which received a strong response from the audience.
Unified standard norms remain one of the most popular and pressing topics in occupational safety. Tatiana Pilipenko, Deputy General Director for Standardization at the Vostok-Service Group, spoke in detail about the expected changes to the Rules for the Use of Personal Protective Equipment. Georgy Piguzov, Head of the PPE Supply Standardization Department at the Vostok-Service Group, revealed another important issue ― the rules for organising a system for training employees in the use of PPE at an enterprise.
The presentation by Maria Yalovenko, Deputy Director for Marketing at the Vostok-Service Group, on new PPE products, the specifics of composing and using multi-layer clothing systems, trends in garment production – the use of new fabrics, materials and constructions, multi-protective finishes, new design techniques and much more – attracted great interest.
Participants gained a lot of useful information on professional risk assessment, budget management and smart solutions for PPE from the presentation by Vasily Eremenko, General Director of the "Center for the Study and Assessment of Legal and Economic Problems of the Industrial Safety and Occupational Health System".
Presentations on the experience of implementing PPE supply outsourcing at enterprises across various industries attracted significant attention and lively audience response; these were shared by representatives of Vostok-Service Group's client companies:
- Evgeniya Selezneva, Deputy Head of the Occupational Safety, Transport and Industrial Safety and Emergency Situations Unit, PJSC SIBUR Holding
- Evgeny Korobkov, Director of Economics and Finance, JSC Kaustik
- Nikolay Krukh, Deputy Executive Director for Industrial Safety and Occupational Health, PJSC Alrosa
During the conference participants actively familiarised themselves with functional clothing, footwear and protective equipment produced by Vostok-Service. Anyone interested tried on product samples and received answers to their questions from our clothing, footwear and PPE experts. The HORIZONT suit, developed in collaboration with well-known designer Sergey Efremov, proved especially popular.
At the partner company booths of ROSOMZ, UVEX, "Safety Laboratory", Zelinsky Group, and KB "Priboy", conference participants were able to test services for vision, hearing and skin checks, and using a special simulator assess the capabilities and functionality of a self-rescuer device used in emergency situations.
The event concluded with a video showcase of functional clothing models.
The "Successful Ways to Develop the Occupational Safety Market" conference brought together representatives of enterprises from various industries to exchange experience and knowledge and once again emphasized the importance of such meetings for the development of companies and the industry as a whole.
