Results of Professional Skills Competitions

We announce the winners of the professional skills competitions for seamstresses, shoemakers, and glove production workers.

At the end of May the IV Interregional Professional Skills Competition for seamstresses, shoemakers and glove production workers took place. The event was held for the first time in 2022 to mark the 30th anniversary of Vostok-Service Group and received positive feedback from guests and participants — it was decided to repeat the event annually.

The professional skills competitions are traditionally held in 2 stages:

• Theoretical, where participants demonstrate theoretical knowledge of technological processes and terminology.
• Practical.

Professional Skills Competition for Shoemakers

On May 23, the IV International Professional Skills Competition for footwear production workers was held at the Torzhok Shoe Factory.

For the fourth time in Tver, 28 representatives from nine footwear enterprises (company-owned and partner) from Russia and Armenia engaged in producing footwear for the Vostok-Service Group brands gathered: together with guests, over 70 people.

For the first time, operators of cutting equipment demonstrated their skills, and traditionally — upper assemblers — specialists with up to 3 years' experience and over 3 years' experience. In the "specialists with up to 3 years' experience" category, students from the College of Technology, Modeling and Management "Promtechdesign" (Saint Petersburg) took part.

Notably, the competition has become very popular among footwear factory workers — they prepare for it well in advance and compete for the right to represent their factory. Therefore, the best gathered at the TOF venue, and the competition was fiercely contested.

As a result of the competition among upper assemblers, the winners were:

• 2nd place - Antonina Vasilyeva, LLC "Rabochiy Stil"

Category "Employees with up to 3 years of experience"

• 2nd place - Anastasia Speshneva, OP "Likhoslavl"
• 3rd place – Alisa Enikeeva, Arevik Arakelyan, KTMU "Promtechdesign"

Category "Cutting Equipment Operators":

• 1st place – Olga Potapova, LLC "Rabochiy Stil"

According to Svetlana Drozenko, Head of Footwear Production Management at Vostok-Service Group, the professional skills competition is an opportunity for employees to improve their qualifications during preparation, demonstrate their knowledge, abilities and skills, compare them with those of representatives from other enterprises, exchange experience and adopt best practices. And that means — we are starting preparations for the next competition!

Professional Skills Competition for Glove Production Workers

Every year the "Likom" factory celebrates a professional holiday — Chemist's Day, which takes place on the last Sunday of May. This year the ceremonial part took place on May 23 as part of the professional skills competition, during which each employee can demonstrate their professional skills, knowledge and abilities.

The ceremonial part of the event was opened by company employees to the "Likom" factory anthem, which was written by Vladimir Viktorovich Kalabugin, Head of the Sales Department.

The competition was held in the specialties "Best Cutter" and "Best Manufacturer of Dipped Products". The competition commission included heads of departments whose staff took part in the tournament, experts from related departments, and independent consultants.

During the ceremonial part, the winners of the professional skills competition were awarded, and honorary certificates were presented to employees for conscientious work and high professional qualities. The event was attended by Mulyukov Ilnur Radikovich, Chief of Staff of the Meleuzovsky District, and Alexander Anatolyevich Zhdanov, Director of Logistics of Vostok-Service Group.

Professional Skills Competition for Seamstresses

On May 29 the professional skills competition for seamstresses began at the Central Office and continued on May 30 at the Ramenskoye site. The event was joined by more than 50 participants from all regions where Vostok-Service Group's sewing factories operate in Russia and Belarus, as well as representatives of partner enterprises.

The event was opened by the CEO of Vostok-Service Group, Sergey Ivanovich Shiryaev, with the words: "We are all winners, we are all market leaders. We all work at Company No. 1, and only thanks to the coordinated work of each person at their workplace — seamstress, loader, sales manager, accountant and other employees — do we maintain and strengthen our leadership".

Engineering and technical staff of the factories were able to attend a mini-training on task delegation, and all participants took a tour of the flagship facility — the robotic loading zone of the warehouse complex, the logo shop, and the largest sewing factory.

• "For the Best Knowledge in Occupational Safety" — Anastasia Pilipeyeva, Sewing Production, Veliky Novgorod.
