On May 23, four expeditions of the student expedition corps "Teams of the Arctic", with which our company began cooperating last year, set off for the Arctic.
Twenty participants of the student expedition corps "Teams of the Arctic" aboard the research and expedition vessel "Mikhail Somov" are heading to four Arctic territories:
- Zimnegorsky Lighthouse (White Sea) — construction of a helipad, waste collection and logging storage locations in the navigation system;
- the Kanin Nos Peninsula and the islands of Morzhovets and Kolguyev (NAO) — litter cleanup.
The Far North is quite harsh: one has to contend with piercing winds, high humidity and severe temperature fluctuations. For comfortable work and living in the Arctic, high-quality clothing and footwear capable of protecting against adverse weather conditions are required. We hope that our warm, functional clothing and footwear will help the expedition participants focus on the main task — cleaning Arctic shores of debris and conducting scientific research.
