Environmental responsibility is one of Vostok-Service's core corporate values. Our employees embrace the principles of responsible stewardship of the environment and annually take part in environmental protection campaigns that the company conducts independently or together with partners.
Support for rare animal species
Since 2014 we have participated in projects to conserve endangered animal species. Today the company sponsors the Daurian crane, the Caucasus–Belovezh bison, the white lion, and Père David's deer.
Vostok-Service Alleys
Every spring and summer employees from the central office, branches and factories plant trees and shrubs near stores and offices, in city squares, and on the grounds of schools and kindergartens. Since 2014, 11 450 saplings have been planted. Company branches in Arkhangelsk, Voronezh, Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Kurgan, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Penza, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Ryazan, Saransk, Saratov, Stary Oskol, Tula, Tyumen, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, and Cherepovets take part in the campaign.
Cleaning riverbanks and water bodies
Company employees regularly organize volunteer clean-ups on the banks of rivers, lakes and ponds: they collect litter, clean coastal areas and sort waste for further recycling. In 2022–2026, 50 sites were cleaned and more than 12 tons of waste were removed.
Recycling
Containers for used batteries, plastic caps and waste paper have been installed in offices, sales floors and production sites. All collected materials are sent for disposal and recycling. In 2022–2026, 1000 kg of batteries, 4 tons of waste paper and 250 kg of caps were collected.
Digital approach instead of paper
We switched to electronic product catalogs, abandoning printed versions. This allows us to save 4 hectares of forest (more than 4000 trees) and 2 Olympic-sized swimming pools of clean water annually, as well as reduce the use of printing inks and the related emissions.
We value and consider it important to be able to contribute to environmental preservation. We thank everyone for participating in our eco-programs!
