October 12 is the All-Russian Waste Paper Collection Day. It takes place within the Russian Environmental Week, organized and conceptually inspired by the Russian Environmental Operator.
As part of the Week, from October 10 to 16, 2022, a series of events are taking place in our country that help clean streets of litter (community clean-ups), start proper waste disposal (electronics collection), and instill in the younger generation a love of nature and a careful attitude toward it (environmental days at schools).
The company «Vostok-Service» pays great attention to preserving the country's natural wealth. Therefore, each year we plant trees, collect batteries for proper disposal, and have abandoned the printed version of our catalog, replacing it with an electronic version.
For more than a year now we have been practicing a new direction in our offices — paper collection. Every few months, «Vostok-Service» employees gather all used paper and take it to collection points for further recycling. This helps save many trees from being cut down.
Anyone can join such an initiative. And you don't have to wait for a special day on the calendar: collection points for waste paper and other recyclables operate every day. Only together can we preserve the planet's green wealth and make the world a better place.
