As part of the eco-program for the anniversary year of the Vostok-Service Group, employees of the Rabochiy Stil factory and the Tula branch planted a cherry orchard on the Rabochiy Stil premises.
On April 28, 2022, a cherry orchard was planted on the premises of our Rabochiy Stil shoe factory as part of the environmental program celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Vostok-Service Group.
Twenty-one cherry saplings of the Turgenevskaya and Kharitonovskaya varieties were purchased for the future orchard. Factory employees cleared and prepared the site on the premises in advance. Olga Aristova, Head of Human Resources at Rabochiy Stil, gave instructions on the sapling planting procedures. In a warm, friendly spring atmosphere, employees of the Tula branch of Vostok-Service, together with factory staff — including General Directors Maksim Aleksandrovich Derbasov (Vostok-Service) and Aleksey Gennadyevich Bespamyatnov (Rabochiy Stil) — planted the trees and installed a commemorative plaque.
Irina Shilkina, Continuous Improvement Implementation Specialist at the factory, gave a tour of the facility for employees of Vostok-Service.
The shoe factory now has its own cherry orchard. We hope all the saplings take root, grow strong, and produce a good harvest!
